Acer is best known for its combined features gaming laptops, and its Nitro lineup is one of the strongest candidates in the electronics market. The company launched its Nitro 5 gaming laptop powered by the latest AMD Ryzen 5600H processor in India on April 7, 2021.
The Nitro 5 comes with two graphics card options. It includes the 2nd Generation Ray Tracing Cores & 3rd Generation Tensor Cores powered NVIDIA RTX 3060 graphics card along with NVIDIA GTX 1650 graphics card. The pricing of the laptop starts at INR 71,990 and increases depending on the graphics card option.

Features and specifications
Acer Nitro 5 has a 15.6 inches display with Full HD (1920 x 1080), IPS technology and a large screen-to-body ratio that boasts up to a 144Hz high refresh rate. The laptop is integrated with TrueHarmony technology with DTS: X Ultra which features optimized bass, clarity, precision and 6 custom content modes with smart amplifier.
The smart amplifier supports Windows Spatial Sound for PC Gaming with a DTS license integrated. These features help us to have a truly rich gaming experience triggering our senses.
The Nitro 5 runs on Windows 10 and includes 256 GB SSD. It also has an 8 GB of DDR4 system memory, which is upgradable to 32 GB using two SODIMM modules. Meanwhile, both of the laptop variants sport an RGB-backlit keyboard and the Acer ComfyView LED-backlit TFT LCD.
The laptop has an NVIDIA GeForce Graphics card which is also available in two variants- GTX 1650 and RTX 3060. It also comes with Acer CoolBoost technology with a quad exhaust port design that keeps the system temperature at an ideal level. The users can monitor their Nitro 5 with the NitroSense hotkey, covering temperatures, fan speeds, and more.
The Nitro 5 from Acer also features Killer Ethernet E2600 that delivers incredible network experiences with low latency gaming, smooth HD streaming video and interrupt-free voice and video chats.
The laptop also supports two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, a USB Type-C port, USB 3.2 Gen 2 port with power-off charging, and HDMI 2.0. As for the battery, the Nitro 5 comes with 57.5 Wh, which can last up to 13 hours with a single charge.
Price and availability
As mentioned before, Acer Nitro 5 is available in two graphics card variants- GTX 1650 and RTX 3060. The GTX 1650 model costs INR 71,990, where as the RTX 3060 variant has a price tag of INR 94,990.
Both of the models are available at Acer Exclusive stores and Acer online stores. It will also go on sale on Flipkart from 9th April onwards.
