Xiaomi Mi 11X to launch in India on April 23rd alongside the Mi 11 Ultra

Xiaomi has confirmed that the company will launch the Mi 11 Ultra in India on April 23rd; in a recent development, it has been unearthed that the Chinese tech giant will also launch the Xiaomi X flagship series in India.

In a recent Tweet, Manu Kumar Jain has announced that the upcoming X series of smartphones will offer “Xtreme Performance” and an “Xquisite design”. The Mi 11X that is likely to be launched in India has already been launched globally as a rebranded Redmi K40. Furthermore, the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 11X will be launched alongside the Mi 11 Ultra on April 23rd.

Interestingly, the Mi 11X has been launched in Europe under the name Poco F3. But the latest addition to the X series will come in a new customized version, designed specifically for the Indian market.

Since the Mi 11X is the rebranded Redmi 40, the upcoming smartphone features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that offers 1300 nits peak brightness. The front display of the smartphone comes with a punch-hole design which houses a selfie camera of 20MP.

The back of the smartphone comes with a triple camera setup that consists of a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 5MP tele-macro lens. Under the hood, the smartphone runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G chipset.

Moreover, the device also comes with a 4520 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. Other specifications include 5G support, 4G VoLTE, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual speaker setup with Dolby Atmos surround sound, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, etc. The smartphone will come with Android-11 based MIUI 12 out of the box.

The smartphone will come in memory variants with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM with 256GB of internal storage. The pricing, ideally, should start at roughly INR. 22,000.
