A few days ago, the smartphone also popped up on the TENAA certification website and any signs of a fingerprint sensor were not visible on the smartphone. Oppo has confirmed that the smartphone will come with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Under the hood, the Oppo K9 will be powered by the Snapdragon 768G 5G chipset. Moreover, the smartphone will come with 8GB of RAM. The Oppo K9 is supposed to run on Android 11 out-of-the-box with ColorOS 11 UI.

The teaser launched by the company itself shows that the smartphone will feature a triple-camera setup on its back. Although the exact details of the setup are yet to be known. Additionally, Oppo has also mentioned that the upcoming smartphone will offer up to 65W fast charging support. The OPPO K9, the company claims, can work up to 2 hours with just 5 minutes of charging. The OPPO K9 will join the previous offering from the company, the OPPO K7 which was launched in China last year.

The launch day is very near, and although the company had refused to give out all the details regarding the features of the smartphone, this has surfaced that the smartphone, besides housing the triple-camera on its back, will also come with two sensors on its back. The smartphone might run on a 2100mAh battery which is not something impressive. Dimensions-wise, the phone might measure at around 159.1 x 73.4 x 7.9mm. The pricing and the global availability of the smartphone will be made public on the day of its official launch.
