Recently, many photos of what appears to be the new earbuds from Sony called the WF-1000XM4 surfaced online. The photos gave a rough idea of what to expect from the upcoming earbuds. On May 13th, a few more information about the earbuds was made public. The newly leaked information also reveals that the Sony WF-1000XM4 will be offered in two different colors. The previous photos reveal that the earbuds would come in Black color.

The Sony WF-1000XM4 has a compact design similar to Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro. However, Sony’s are much smaller earbuds that will fit more comfortably. The case that the earbuds come in is also smaller and compact, and it comes with a gold Sony logo.

It should be mentioned that the new photos do not reveal any kind of information or specs regarding the earbuds. Both the color variants will come with a gold Sony logo on their respective charging case.

A few leaks claim that the Sony WF-1000XM4 will offer faster-charging technology than its predecessor. The charging output for the previous earbuds is clocked at 5V = 140mA. On the other hand, the charging output for the new upcoming earbuds is clocked at %v = 120mAh. The battery specs for the earbuds indicate that the earbuds could offer up to 10 minutes of service with just 10 minutes of charging. The previous models offered a 90-minute service with a 10-minute charge. More features regarding the earbuds will be gradually released over the course of the upcoming few weeks, ultimately leading to its launch.

It is imperative to mention that the company, Sony, is yet to reveal any information about the Sony WF-1000XM4. However, it is general consensus that the earbuds might get launched in early June.
