SERES and Huawei have jointly designed a new smart car, and as per a revealing post on Weibo, the concerned Huawei Selection SF5 smart car will be available in the Chinese market by next year. Both the companies are focusing on developing a more advanced Porsche version of this model.
Both the companies are jointly designing a 7-seater SUV that will feature Huawei’s smart solutions while also supporting a 30W plus charging output on the dock. Apparently, this 7-seater model has already entered the development field.
The new smart car will be offered in two models: the base model will be priced at 300,000 yuan whereas the more advanced version of the car will be priced at more than 500,000 yuan. The top-of-the-line smart car is also supposed to feature Huawei ADS.
The first shipment of SERES Huawei Smart Selection SF5 fully electric vehicle has been deployed to the owners on May 29th, and the company has guaranteed that the rest of the order which is above 10,000, will be delivered soon.
Now that demand for the smart car is at an all-time high, the maker shares of SERES SF5 models have also increased by eight times. As of now, their market value has been crossed 100 million Yuan with a closing stock price of 77.2 Yuan.
SERES Huawei Smart Selection SF5 SMART CAR is offered in two models: Two-Wheel drive which is priced at 216,800 yuan which is approximately USD 34,000, and Four-Wheel drive which is priced at 246,800 Yuan which is approximately USD 38,000. The smart car’s battery life offers up to 180 km for daily requirements, and up to 1000 km when it comes to long drives. Moreover, the smart car also comes with 405 kW with 820 torque N.m. which offers 4.68 sec/100 km acceleration.
