WhatsApp made it known that its beta testing for version 2.21.151.2 is now available for testing. The news clearly mentions that this version of beta testing is now available for iOS. Now that it will go into testing mode, it will not be long before the popular social media platform gradually launches the new version to all its users.

The beta testing will be used mainly to fix bugs. The beta testing slot is closed now, so any tester interested in this beta testing cannot join now, or they must wait for the next window where WhatsApp opens up the beta testing mode. More details about this version will soon be announced by WhatsApp.

The users who are a tester or have signed up for being one previously can install the beta version through the TestFlight page for iOS where they easily install the update. However, if someone who is not a tester wants to participate in this testing, that might be difficult for them. Anyone interested in signing up as a tester must first wait for WhatsApp to open the beta program. WhatsApp has not mentioned when that window might open, but they can monitor Apple’s TestFlight website for regular updates.

Users interested in testing beta versions of the app using Apple’s TestFlight can do so only after accepting an email or even a public link invitation from the developers. The testers will have access to those builds that the developers make public. For iOS apps, it is a prerequisite to have iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch running on iOS 13 or later.

Whenever a new build is available, TestFlight notifies the tester. During the testing, the tester can choose to send feedback to the developer about the issues they might be facing or make suggestions for how to improve certain features on the “What to Test” content. The feedback can be sent to the developer using the TestFlight app or directly from the beta app.
