Vivo has launched the Vivo Y33s smartphone in India. The new device came to India after the country launched the Vivo Y21. Customers with ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank cards will be able to enjoy instant cashback on the purchase of the smartphone for a limited period. The new offering from the Chinese company features a 6.58-inch of Halo FullView Full-HD+ LCD display that offers a resolution of 2408x 1080 pixels.
The front display of the smartphone comes with a waterdrop-notch that houses the selfie camera. The display supports Eye Protection Mode to reduce blue-light emission. Moreover, users can also choose to adjust the screen colors so that the screen light goes easier on the eyes.
Under the hood, the smartphone runs on the MediaTek Helio G80 chipset. Moreover, the smartphone comes with 8GB of RAM and an extended 4GB of RAM and offers 128GB of built-in storage, which could be expanded up to 1TB using microSD. The backside of the smartphone features a triple camera setup that consists of a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel bokeh camera, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. At the frontside, inside the waterdrop notch, the Vivo Y33s houses a selfie camera of 16MP. The camera app comes bundled with features such as night mode, portrait, pano, live photo, slow-mo, time-lapse, Pro, and DOC.
Other features on the Vivo Y33s include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, fingerprint sensor, dual-SIM card support, and Android 11 with FuntouchOS 11.1 on top. Furthermore, the smartphone runs on a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.
Vivo Y33s in India is priced at INR 17,990 for the 8GB RAM+128GB variant. The smartphone is available in two color options: Mirror Black and Midday Dream. The smartphone will go on sale on the Vivo channels and other eCommerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm, and Tatacliq on August 23, 2021.
