Redmi Sets to Unveil New 2021 Redmi G Gaming Laptop by September 22

Today, September 14th, the Chinese multinational electronics company, Redmi, has officially announced the release of the new 2021 Redmi G gaming laptop set to be unveiled by September 22nd.  

Redmi is a sub-brand owned by the Chinese electronics company Xiaomi Corporation, that makes and invests in smartphones, mobile apps, laptops, home appliances, bags, shoes, consumer electronics, and many other products, with is headquartered in Beijing.

Recall that Redmi released its first gaming laptop, the Redmi G in August last year as an affordable and capable alternative in the market. At the very least, the Redmi G appears to have been at a reasonable success, which has a 16.1-inch 100 percent sRGB screen, a 10th-generation Intel Core i5-10200H processor, and a high-performance NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650Ti graphics card. However, as Redmi has now revealed that a sequel is on the way. 

JD.com has just unveiled the pre-sale page for the new Redmi G gaming laptop 2021, which indicates that the new gaming laptop comes in two flavors: Ryzen and Intel. A 1080p screen, 64GB memory, and 512GB SSD are among the other hardware features.  

Weibo post revealed the theme of the new gaming laptop appears to be “light”, with Redmi making multiple references in the teaser image.  

“Redmi G (2021). This time there must be light. Because of love, chasing light. Bright-chasing is the high-performance gaming notk. See you in September 2021.”  

While, according to the Xiaomi Notebook Weibo account posted, which reads:  

“Redmi’s brand mission is to popularize high-end products, and to be an invincible high-performance light chasing game notebook of the same grade, so that every gamer who loves games can enjoy high-quality ray tracing game experience, which is the new goal of the new generation of Redmi G gaming notebook.”
