The Apple event 2021, which took place yesterday, was a huge success and Apple seized the opportunity to launch five new products to the over 2 million viewers plugged into the event. Just as the company has done recently, the event was held virtually and broadcast from Apple park.

However, if what Apple did with its top launches last year is anything to go by, then we may expect many more Apple events before the year runs out. Although this September event seems to be the one most people care about – based on popular demand, Apple could make a return in the coming months to unveil other rumored products like the MacBook Pro 16-inch 2021, MacBook Pro 2021 (14-inch), and more new iPads.

During the event, Apple showcased the iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13, Apple Watch Series 7, new iPad 9, and an iPad mini 6. They also made service announcements for Apple TV Plus and Apple Fitness Plus.

Below are the details of the new products that were announced during the live event yesterday:

1. iPhone 13 Pro

This beauty comes with a more powerful camera system and has been dubbed to have the fastest smartphone chip in the world. It is also important to note that there’s improved battery life in this product when compared with its predecessors.

2. iPhone 13

According to Apple, the iPhone 13 will have its most advanced dual-camera system yet. It has an even brighter OLED display than the Pro version and improved battery life.

3. Apple Watch Series 7

Apple says this is the most durable Apple Watch ever and features some breakthrough health innovations. Recall that it has been rumored that the new Apple Watch could be due for its biggest redesign in years. Meaning we can expect not to see the curved screen chassis anymore – instead, several sources have confirmed that the Apple Watch 7 will feature flat edges.

4. iPad mini

The iPad mini comes with a new all-screen design. It is equipped with a powerful A15 Bionic chip, an ultra-wide front camera with Centre Stage, and a 12-megapixel rear camera. It is available in 4 colors and comes with no fingerprint sensor on the front. Apple also announced that the new iPad Mini, which has an 8.3-inch wide screen, has a flat design language, as seen in iPhone 12. Lastly, the iPad mini comes with stereo speakers.

5. iPad

Simply called the new iPad, Apple’s lowest-priced iPad has been equipped with an advanced A13 Bionic chip. The 12MP front camera will allow for a better video call experience and the ultra-wide front camera with a center stage enables it to capture a lot more people in one scene. Another feature of this new product is that it can have an LTE wireless connection.
