Realme has a few smartwatches under its belt. The Chinese tech giant recently launched the Realme Watch 2 and other smartwatches, all of which came under the ‘affordable’ category. Now the company has unveiled the Realme Band 2, which donnes a new look over the original band.
The new band from Realme features a larger display that comes encased inside a rectangular case that houses the TFT LCD. It is now a prerequisite for any company launching a new smartwatch or a smart band to equip them with basic features such as multiple health and fitness-related feature. This is true of the new Realme Band 2.
The Band has already been unveiled and launched in Malaysia, and it is only a matter of time before it launches in India too. The Realme Band 2 features a 1.4-inch TFT LCD display which offers a peak brightness of 500 nits. The display size is larger than its previous models, which feature a display screen of 0.96-inch.
The new band comes with up to 90 workout modes, including generic walking, running, cycling, swimming too much more. Of late, keeping the pandemic situation in mind, the tech giants have also started to incorporate SpO2 blood oxygen sensors into their smart devices. Realme Band 2 comes with such a sensor; apart from that, the Band also comes equipped with a sleep monitoring sensor, heart rate monitoring sensor, etc.
Under the hood, the smart band runs on a 204 mAh battery that can offer up to 12 days worth of battery life on a single charge. Realme is offering over 50 watch faces for the Realme Band 2.
The Realme Band 2 is priced at RM 139 in Malaysia, approximately INR. 2000. It can be expected that when the Chinese company decides to launch the Realme Band 2 in India, it will be priced somewhere around INR. 2000.
