The Chinese consumer electronics and mobile communications company OPPO has started developing Oppo Tablet and its products and is expected to be launched in the first half of 2022.
Sina Technology recently reported that at the recent partner summit, the vice president and president of China OPPO, Liu Bo revealed that OPPO is expanding new Tablet computers, as well as some multi-form smartphone products in which the first Oppo Tablet will be launched in the first half of 2022.
According to Liu Bo, OPPO has become the third Android brand and the second offline. At the same time, the product awareness of Find X3 increased from 46% to 60% in terms of high-end.
Tablets have emerged as a category in which mobile phone makers are redoubling their efforts. Huawei has made fast progress in the Tablet market and is now able to compete with Apple’s iPad; Xiaomi released the Mi Tablet 5 series in August of this year.
The media inside also revealed that Vivo’s tablet, which would focus on synergy with mobile phones, will be released in the first part of next year.
With regards to the multi-form smartphone products mentioned by Bo Liu, they are likely to be folding screens or scrolling screens.
Recall that OPPO unveiled a scroll screen concept machine at the OPPO Future Technology Conference in November 2020. The machine’s screen may be stretched out like a scrolling picture. The largest size is 7.4 inches, while the smallest is 6.7 inches. Screen effect of zero creases.
