On October 9, one of the leading gaming phone companies Black Shark announced that the company is gearing up to launch its new gaming phone called Black Shark 4S. The phone is scheduled to be launched on October 13, 2021. The company further announced that the theme for the new phone launch is evolution and attack.

The Black Shark also announced that there is a romance called Mecha and that there is a memory called Freedom Gundam. The new smartphone will be ushering in a new era for the company as the company has mentioned that the “Mecha New Species” has now evolved. The launch event on October 13 will be hosted at 15:00, and everyone will get to see the Black Shark join hands with Bandai Namco China.

Black Shark has not revealed the details about the upcoming phone’s specs yet, but the company did reveal a poster on its official Weibo account. The poster reveals that the smartphone will come with a horizontally-aligned triple camera setup on its back. As we get closer to the launch date, we can expect the company to reveal some details about the smartphone.

The previous Black Shark 4 and Black Shark 4 Pro are powered by Snapdragon 870 and Snapdragon 888 processors, respectively. The new smartphone might get a slightly more powerful chipset than its previous model, especially because gaming smartphones are pushing to launch their smartphones equipped with the latest software.

A blogger on Weibo has posted that the Black Shark 4S might come equipped with Snapdragon 888+ chip, support a 144Hz refresh rate, and a 120W fast charging. It is highly likely that the company will retain the screen size of the previous Black Shark smartphones.

Although Black Shark gaming phones have made significant noise in Asia, there has not been enough stir regarding the gaming phone in the west. The upcoming Black Shark 4S gaming smartphone is likely to get launched in Asian countries exclusively.
