Some users of One plus are kvetching regarding bizarre issues occurring in their Mobile phones. A user has complained that his Oneplus 6T, which sprints on OxygenOS,  stopped supporting WhatsApp and showed a mysterious error as soon as he updated to OxygenOS 11.1.1, which was rolled out on September 29.

The user added that he couldn’t send or receive any messages and his WhatsApp data went somewhere in vain; and also, the cloud storage data was showing errors in the device.

This is not a secluded issue, as the same things were reported by another user in the Oneplus forum. The user of Oneplus 6  shared his grievance that his mobile phone abruptly erased all the data storage from WhatsApp soon after he upgraded to the new OxygenOS version 11.1.1.

And another user named “Bhakream” commented that he couldn’t use Whatsapp immediately after upgrading to OxygenOS 11.1.1. “I updated OxygenOS version 11.1.1. Now I found that all the media files (photos & videos) in my WhatsApp chat are not exist in internal storage,” says one of the affected users in the Oneplus forum.

As we keenly notice, users encounter the same problem that persists once they have updated to the new version of OxygenOS.  Notably, all the impacted devices run on the same OxygenOS.

Quite a considerable number of users are facing the same problem on different devices. Still, the problem remains the same. The amusing thing is that Oneplus carried out the new update from OxygenOS to remove the bugs and battery drain issues that users had previously reported. Still, this time the problems differ, but the troubles continue to hover around users. Howbeit Oneplus is yet to confirm the issue officially.
