For the last few months, Google has been preoccupied with giving more updates to the Fitbit Sense and Versa 3; thereby, it is trying to make both the devices better. What every update, in general, brings to its users are features that are expected to solve existing issues and make the devices work better and more efficiently. Similarly, the updates Google brings to the Fitbit Sense and Versa 3, bring with it new features for the same. This time the Cali-based tech giant is rolling out the OS 5.3 update to the Sense and Versa 3. Some reports have explained that the new update is not a major one rolled out by Google, but it matters nonetheless.

As per the reports, the new updates bring with them some practical features on top of the existing features. As for the new update, it brings two new features, status indicators and outdoor exercise mode, both to the Fitbit Sense and Versa 3. The Status Indicator is an important feature. Using this, the users can easily monitor the battery of the devices. Not only that, but the users can also see whether the device is connected to a phone or not, and manage the do not disturb or sleep mode settings.

As mentioned above, the OS 5.3 update brings the outdoor exercise mode to the devices. The user can look for this feature under the Exercise app. The function of this feature is exactly as it sounds. Using the outdoor exercise mode, the users of the Fitbit Sense and Versa 3 can track their outdoor activities, such as skating, kayaking, skiing, hiking, and much more.

Although Google has rolled out the new update, it may take up a few weeks for the update to reach all smartwatch units. The company has also asked its users to check the Fitbit app in a few days for the update.
