Today, at the 2021 Guangzhou Auto Show, the Asian automobile manufacturing giant Dongfeng Yueda Kia Motor Co., Ltd unveils the new Kia EV6, with an 800V fast charge and 600km maximum battery life.

The brand-new electric car EV6, which had previously been released in global markets, is the fourth-generation Jiahua, the brand’s flagship MPV.

In addition, Kia has also established a brand-new image, a commitment to sustainable development, and a strategy and measures to achieve carbon neutrality in 2045. These new concepts have drawn the broad prospects of the Kia brand and even imagined the beauty of the entire automotive industry in the future.

They aim to achieve carbon neutrality in the whole corporate value chain by 2045 by focusing on “sustainable transportation,” “sustainable earth,” and “sustainable energy” as their key aims for lowering carbon emissions.

Kia will accelerate the speed of “electrification” in terms of automobile products, with the goal of “100 percent electrification” in the worldwide market sometime between 2035 and 2040.

Kia’s EV6 model has long gained a lot of international interest as the “upstart” of new energy vehicles. This time, the EV6 was available in standard and GT-line versions.

The new automobile is designed in the “OPPO sites United” design language, has a maximum cruising range of 600 kilometers, enables 800V rapid charging, and can charge the battery from 30% to 80% in just 14 minutes.

The EV6 GT, the series’ highest model, has a maximum power of 584 horsepower and takes only 3.5 seconds to accelerate from zero to 100 kilometers, giving drivers a pleasant driving experience. The EV6 is based on Kia’s new E-GMP specialized platform for electric vehicles.

This platform can significantly improve the vehicle’s driving and safety performance by optimizing the vehicle’s body structure and implementing a variety of innovative technologies. This is self-evident in terms of car electrification’s future development.

Kia also gave a sneak peek at the second dedicated electric vehicle, the EV9, which will be built on the E-GMP platform in the near future. Kia’s dedication to realizing the solid promise of “sustainable mobile solutions” is symbolized by its design, which is inspired by nature and enhanced recycled materials from marine waste that represent a severe threat to the marine ecology. The EV9 concept car will also be unveiled in the near future.
