Fast charging technology is really taking the tech world by storm. Now almost all the major smartphone manufacturers are currently engaged in developing a fast charging technology that satisfies the user’s needs. Very recently, the Chinese tech giant Xiaomi filed for a bunch of trademarks for what looks like fast charging technology. It goes without saying that this is something that tech companies are getting extremely competitive over.

Another major smartphone manufacturer, Samsung, is not far behind in this race. The company sells a range of wired and wireless chargers for its smartphones and various other devices, such as tablets, laptops, wearables, etc. A few online sources have confirmed that Samsung is now working on a new fast wired charger which is code-named EP-T6530. The company is calling the new charger Power Adapter Trio, and this device is capable of fast-charging almost all the devices. This device will ensure that the user does not use or carry separate chargers for each device. Moreover, this charger can also fast-charge Galaxy Book, Galaxy S21, or the Galaxy Z Flip 3.

Samsung EP-T6530 charger features three ports: 1x USB Type-C port which offers a maximum of 65W maximum charging capability, 1x USB Type-C port which offers a maximum of 25W fast charging capability, and 1x USB Type-A port that offers a maximum of 15W fast charging tech. The charger is already available for purchase on several European websites. Those websites list that the charger is priced at €56. However, Samsung has not officially launched the charger, so there is some confusion over whether the charger offers a maximum power of 65W or 105W.

Moreover, Samsung is likely to re-introduce 45W fast wired charging technology with the Galaxy S22+ and the Galaxy S22 Ultra, and this charger could also fast-charge the upcoming high-end smartphones from the company.
