The new update is arriving for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and it seems like this would be the last patch update of fighter adjustments for the game. Nintendo has not disclosed the exact release date; however, Nintendo advises players to convert the replay data into videos before setting off incompatible with the update after it’s been downloaded. The new update comes after the previous upgrade 13.0 that introduced Sora to the directory.
It is just a few days until the release of 13.0.1; Nintendo notes that the latest patch is “coming soon,” Nintendo would always be precise to its compatibility and always choose safer zones to provide smooth updates to switch from older versions. So, going with this concept, Nintendo would never be so early to something they are keenly noticing; we have one more thing to discuss; Nintendo announced that 13.0.1 would be the final fighter adjustment update.
However, considering the overall requirements, it has not been mentioned that this was the last patch update. To clarify, there would be possible bug fixes shortly; if that is the case, developers need to roll out the new update. Masahiro Sakurai Series, director of the games, recently explained his idea behind fighter adjustments in a discussion with Famitsu saying that he plans to bring weakness to fighters instead of robbing away their powers and thinks the current circumstances are levelheaded. He also said that he’s not pondering about making a sequel now, and if the series were to make a sequel, He and Nintendo should discuss the storylines and how to make it work to fit.
