Intel ARC A380 gaming graphics card specs revealed

Semiconductor goliath Intel’s Xe HPG gaming graphics card ARC series has been exposed numerous times, and tech enthusiasts are anticipating to see the impact that this kind of  ARC series would bring, as, from previous suggestions, the performance of ARC would be at the maximum level reckoning with Intel.

On December 2nd, today, tech enthusiast and famous whistleblower @TUM_APISAK revealed news about the parameters and performance of an Intel entry-level graphics card, “ARC A380”. As per previous reports from the IT industry, Intel’s new gaming graphics card will be tagged as ARC A series with two cores, consisting of large cores of 512 units and a small core of 128 units. 

Therefore coming to the specification, Intel’s ARC A380  graphics card is fitted with 128EU, which is a specification of a 1024 stream processor; maximum GPU frequency can reach up to 2.45GHz, which also features a 6GB GDDR6 video memory bank. While comparing it to the NVIDIA’S GTX 1650 SUPER, the performance base is pretty similar, and it also comes as a high-end graphics card from Intel’s side. 

When it comes to power consumption, Intel’s ARC A series is expected to carry out 50W to 75W. However, there is no accurate data for power supply, and it does not require any independent power. ARC A380 desktop graphics card has a 96-bit memory width; thereupon, with a maximum frequency of 16GHz, it could reach a  bandwidth of 192GB/s.

Nvidia and AMD are expected to launch new entry-level graphics soon in the market. Nvidia will release RTX 3050 Ti and RTX 3050 early next year; meanwhile, AMD will launch RX 6500 XT and RX 6400 as same period as Nvidia.

Profoundly this kind of graphics card does not require an external power supply and is built up to produce a higher energy ratio. It will be well fitted for ITX hosts, and the target performance is 1080p games moreover. If these two semiconductor firms dash by this speed, Intel would probably end up staying with a baton in the race.
