The most popular instant messaging app WhatsApp is deploying a new update through the Google Play Beta Program, presenting the version up to 2.21.25.6. Let’s take a look at the features of the latest update. Previously, WhatsApp released a bug fix update for users that encountered a few significant crashes after installing the WhatsApp beta for the Android 2.21.24.11 update, which rolled out in November; currently, WhatsApp is working on new features in the future update.

Peculiarly, WhatsApp brings hidden references about a new layout while sending media files through the app; it will be available in an upcoming update. The new features are named media layout. Currently, the part is under construction; according to Wabetainfo, WhatsApp plans to launch this feature in an upcoming update.

For instance, the new media layout might be helpful when you set forth the recent status updates. You should change your status privacy settings to enable the new media layout system; WhatsApp is expected to bring out some minor changes before the official release.

In addition, WhatsApp rolled out a new update, 2.21.25.1, on December 2, yesterday, to fix the bug issues that numerous users faced after updating to Android 2.21.24.11. A week back, WhatsApp launched the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.21.24.11 update. Unfortunately, it delivered many critical issues to some users on Android 12. Users encountered a continuous crash of WhatsApp every time the user tried to open the application. WhatsApp is now driving the new 2.21.25.1 update to beta testers on the Play Store, including the bug fix for the application crash.
