Oppo’s New Foldable Smartphone PEUM00 Appeared on Geekbench

The foldable smartphone is all the rage right now, and after the success of the foldable smartphone from Samsung, other major tech giants have started developing their own foldable smartphones.

Several reports have claimed that now Chinese tech giant Oppo may announce its first foldable smartphone in December. While the official moniker of the device has not been officially announced by the company, several reports have claimed that the model number of the alleged Oppo foldable smartphone is PEUM00. Moreover, the device also made its debut appearance on the Chinese TENAA certification website. Now the smartphone has also made its appearance on the Geekbench benchmarking website.

The Geekbench listing of the smartphone does not mention the exact name of the processor that powers the smartphone. But several online reports have claimed that the processor of the foldable smartphone features a prime CPU core clocked at 2.84GHz, three CPU cores clocked at 2.42GHz, and four CPU cores clocked at 1.80GHz. Some have predicted that the smartphone might run on the Snapdragon 888 SoC.

The Geekbench listing of the Oppo PEUM00 shows that it will come equipped with 12GB of RAM, and it will come with the Android 12 OS. On the benchmarking website, the device has secured a score of a total of 925 and a total of 3364 points in the single-core and multi-core tests on Geekbench, respectively.

It has been speculated that Oppo’s foldable display will support a refresh rate of 60Hz, and the inner display screen which will come with an 8-inch of OLED LTPO panel will offer a refresh rate of 120Hz. The front camera of the smartphone will come with a 32MP shooter. The rear smartphone cluster consists of a 50MP Sony IMX766 main shooter, a 16MP Sony IMX481 lens, and a 13MP Samsung S5K3M5 shooter. The smartphone is likely to be powered by a 4500mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging.
