The Game Publishing Working Committee of the China Audiovisual and Digital Publishing Association will host the China Game Console Future Forum on December 15, 2021, at the Guangzhou Science City Convention Center. The news was published by the China Audiovisual and Digital Publishing Association Game Working Committee, and as per the committee, in the Forum, not only the China Audiovisual and Digital Publishing Association but also Sony Interactive Entertainment will participate. Furthermore, the said forum is supported by some heavyweight names in the gaming industry, namely Tencent, Microsoft Xbox Baijiahe, etc.
The 2021 Game Industry Annual Conference is supposed to take place from December 14 to December 16. This year’s theme is “Compliance with regulations, self-discipline, diversified empowerment, and active participation in the new wave of digital economic development.” The annual meeting is composed of the China Game Industry Annual Conference, the annual top ten game ranking ceremony, the game documentary screening, the top ten game gala, the party building achievement exhibition of game companies, and thirteen sub-forums with different themes. The Game Working Committee of the China Music and Digital Association stated that at the annual conference, Sony PlayStation and Tencent would introduce Nintendo Switch, Microsoft Xbox, and Chuangmeng Tiandi. Moreover, one of the main aims of the Forum is to allow all aspects of the industry to discuss the status quo of console games face-to-face while also contemplating the gaming world’s future.
Several reports have pointed out that the console forum will focus on various console game products and the Chinese culture in that the form will discuss the best ways of promoting traditional Chinese culture in various games while also delivering exquisite picture quality and better console products in China, keeping in mind, the protection of minors and other compliance issues decreed by the Chinese government. At the forum, industry experts and business representatives will give a keynote speech on topics such as the ones mentioned above.
