Japanese-based multinational conglomerate manufacturer of automobile firm Honda had announced way back in October that it is gearing up to launch five new EVs in China under its forthcoming e: N Series of highly efficient battery-powered models.

The first two of five electric vehicles is scheduled for 2022 release, in the nametag of the: NS1 and e: NP, the exact date hasn’t been confirmed yet officially, the battery-powered electric vehicle is designed by Honda’s two local joint ventures Dongfeng Honda and GAC Honda, the first two designs are the exact vehicle with an electric version of the HR-V subcompact crossover.

With these ready-to-launch EVs, Honda has also exhibited three salient featured vehicles based on e: N Architecture in the preview video during the Guangzhou Auto Show. A reliable EV platform exclusively designed for e: N Series.

The preview designs display that the models are tagged e: N Coupe, e: N SUV, and e: N GT; Honda envisage a two-seater car, an SUV,  at least one of the concepts will start production in 2024 at the new EV production plants built at both GAC Honda and Dongfeng Honda. Honda could produce a finite amount of EV vehicles since their models aren’t amicable to people.

The e: N SUV could be the first to arrive, so Honda showcased it to the Guangzhou Motor Show last month. Design identity, these concept cars are equipped with monolithic proportions, sharp cutting edges, and front-end frameworks, including the light signatures.

The EV concept looks astonishing and has nothing similar to Honda’s previous design style other than the name. Honda’s electric vehicles resemble the glimpse of Tesla Cybertruck in outlook.

Honda’s previous design is thoroughly different from the one we see with their latest electric cars. In addition, a total of 10 variants of these models are expected to be released to the Chinese automobile market; overseas exports are also not too far to climb.
