Honor May Unveil First Folding Screen Phone by January 2022

A report from foreign media today revealed that the Chinese smartphone brand Honor has set to unveil the first folding-screen phone come January 2022, equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen1.

According to a foreign media report, a blogger noted that the Chinese smartphone brand Honor is adjusting the Tianji 9000, but the terminal products will be later.

The first folding screen mobile phone in Honor’s history is equipped with the industry’s top new platform, the Snapdragon 8 Gen1, and it will be the first batch to arrive promptly, which is something we’re really excited about.

Indeed, reports regarding the Honor folding screen mobile phone have been circulating since the beginning of this year, with one source speculating that the phone’s moniker may be “Magic X.”

A few months ago, the Magic X’s parameters were exposed, revealing that the device will have a dual-screen design. The inside foldable main screen measures 8 inches by 6.5 inches, while the external secondary screen measures 8 inches by 6.5 inches.

The screen is included in the package. BOE continues to test UTG ultra-thin flexible glass cover masters as Jingdong party. The Honor Magic X will be similar to the previous Huawei Mate X series in terms of screen specifications.

Another report said that it will have a left-right folding scheme with a secondary screen on the rear for easier operation. Unfolding and refolding the folding screen on a regular basis can extend the life of the screen.

It’s important to note that the UTG ultra-thin flexible glass cover stated in the announcement is a brand-new technology. Samsung is now testing a new screen cover technology called UTG, which can achieve ultra-thin glass covering.

The introduction of the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 and Dimensity 9000 flagship chips has been the order of the day in the technology industry, this shows that it is the time for each flagship to shine. With the release of the initial Snapdragon 8 Gen1 model, successive models have kept up, and among them, a folding screen smartphone has piqued everyone’s interest.
