A Report revealed early this morning that a 5G news joint laboratory is set to be unveiled in China by 2022, with multiple group standards.
According to China Securities Network, which obtained unique information from the 5G News Working Group, the 5G News Joint Laboratory will be launched any moment in 2022. Still, the exact date has not been revealed yet.
The China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, China Association of Communications Enterprises, China Telecom, China Mobile, China Unicom, ZTE, and Huawei, formed the 5G Message Joint Laboratory.
A number of group standards for 5G news have also been established, according to the 5G News Working Group, and are anticipated to be publicly announced in 2022. It is understood that operators are currently implementing 5G technology. China Mobile released SMS applet 2.0 on November 2nd as a supplement to the 5G announcement.
China Unicom immediately grabbed the lead in commercializing 5G news trials around the country. Operators, terminal makers, and eco-service providers in the industry are all excited about 5G’s future development possibilities.
Many industry insiders, however, have pointed out that the present 5G news contains flaws such as insufficient terminal coverage, slow operator progress, and poor practical experience. It remains to be seen whether 5G news users will be able to break through the current social milieu in the future.
