A report has revealed today that in the United States, “The Matrix 4 Resurrections (Matrix Restart) is now available on HBO MAX streaming media, and it is also being released in North American theaters at the same time. The film is 2 hours and 27 minutes long and is available in 4K UHD and Dolby Vision formats.
The release date for “The Matrix 4: Matrix Restart” in mainland China is set for January 14, 2022, and the Douban score has yet to be revealed. In terms of foreign scores, IMDB gets a 6.7, rotten tomato freshness gets a 70%, and M station gets a 65.
It is revealed that “The Matrix 4: Matrix Restart” picks up where “The Matrix 3: Matrix Revolution” left off, with Neo (Keanu Reeves) and Trinity (Kerry-Ann Mo Carrie-Anne Moss (played by Carrie-Anne Moss) reuniting to face the AI world’s mechanical army. Near the end of ‘The Matrix: Revolutions,’ ‘Neo’ and Trinity are on their way to ‘Machine City,’ a destination no human has ever visited, to broker peace between the two forms of ‘life. When their ship crashes, Trinity is killed, driving Neo, who does not want to live without her, to give his life to broker peace.
This decision sets Neo apart from every prior incarnation of the ‘One,’ who chose to restart the ‘Matrix’ and maintain the control system.
The Architect and the Oracle gather to discuss the newfound peace between man and machine as the sun rises on a new day.
The Architect agrees to let any human escape the Matrix, and the Oracle prophesies that man and machine will live in peace for as long as they can. ‘Sati’ arrives and inquires as to whether or not they will ever see Neo again. ‘I believe so,’ says the Oracles.
