Oppo has added a new smartphone to the K9 series of smartphones, including the Oppo K9, Oppo K9 Pro, and Oppo K9s. The latest addition to this series is the Oppo K9x.
The Oppo K9x features a 6.5-inch of LCD display with a punch-hole display. Moreover, the display offers a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz. The backside of the smartphone features a triple rear camera setup. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Dimensity 810 chipset, and it features both Android 11 OS and ColorOS 12. The left edge of the smartphone has volume buttons, and the right edge of the smartphone features a power button that also doubles as a fingerprint sensor.
As for the camera setup, it consists of a 64MP main shooter and two 2MP lenses. For taking selfies, Oppo has equipped the smartphone with a 16MP sensor. The camera setup is accompanied by a LED flash. The smartphone is powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The device is equipped with up 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 2.1 storage.
The smartphone will be available in three memory variants: 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage, 8GB of RAM with 128GB of storage, and 8GB of RAM with 256GB of storage. However, the smartphone’s internal memory could be expanded using a microSD card. Oppo will offer the new K9x smartphone in two colors: Obsidian Black, and Silver Purple. Moreover, the smartphone weighs only 191 grams and has a thickness of 8.8mm. A few sources have mentioned that Oppo’s new smartphone is the rebranded version of Realme India’s 8s 5G smartphone; however, Oppo has tweaked the rear design of the smartphone.
The Oppo K9x will go on sale on December 27, 2021. The pricing for the smartphone is yet to be announced.
