Realme has attempted to bring the 90s childhood anime nostalgia to its users by manufacturing the Realme GT Neo2 Dragon Ball Z Limited Edition. A user on Twitter revealed that the photos of the smartphone had been revealed on the Chinese website Weibo. Moreover, the limited edition phone also went on its first sale in China on January 7 at 12 am CST at the starting price of RMB 2699.

The Realme GT Neo 2 is already popular, so now the smartphone, coupled with one of the most famous animes of all time, Dragon Ball Z, guaranteed its popularity. Gizmochina has reported that all 5000 units of the smartphone sold out within its first sale. Likewise, Realme has decided to host a second flash sale of the same smartphone on January 10 at 12 am CST. The sale will take place in the official Realme stores in China, its official Tmall store, and at the Oppo China online store.

Regarding the specifications, the special edition of the Realme GT Neo2 has all of the original smartphone’s specs, including the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset that the smartphone is powered by. Moreover, the smartphone runs on a massive 5000mAh battery which supports 65W SuperDart Charging. The SuperDart Charging promises that the charging can go from 0% to 100% in just an hour. The smartphone features a 6.62-inch of E4 120Hz Samsung ALOMED display.

Although both the original edition and the special edition are almost identical, there are a few differences, and those mainly lie in their design. The limited edition comes with a glass back design with an orange matter finish with blue stripes and side rails. As the fans of Dragon Ball Z would have guessed, the design on its back is a hat-tip to the character of Goku. The sim card pin comes with a custom design, and the box contains exclusive stickers and artwork.
