The Hitman Trilogy will launch on Xbox Game Pass on January 20, 2022, as announced by IO Interactive on January 14 as part of the company’s Year 2 revel. IO Interactive took to Twitter to announce the launch of the game. The post reads, “HITMAN Trilogy includes all three games from the World of Assassination. Available digitally on January 20 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Epic Games Store. As well as Steam and Xbox Game Pass.”
The game will also be available digitally for direct purchase on the same day for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, the Epic Game Store, and Steam as the post mentions. “We’re excited to welcome a wave of new players to enjoy the full trilogy through new platforms and services,” IO said in a news post. The developer of the game further added “Now that the trilogy is complete, we’re excited to unveil Hitman Trilogy as a way for new players to get started in the World of Assassination. This collection brings together Hitman 2, Hitman 2, and Hitman 3 into a single package, making it easier than ever to take your first steps to becoming Agent 47.”
The studio, IO has some big plans for the upcoming Hitman 3 which will include a limited to a few technical improvements, and the latest addition of a new single-player mode called Hitman Freelancer. Moreover, as part of IO’s wide announcements, the company also revealed that it is taking the game further up a notch by making the Hitman VR available on PC.
In a similar thread and outside the Hitman franchise, the studio IO Interactive has mentioned that the studio is engaged in developing a new James Bond video game. Although very little is known about the game, users can expect to learn more about the project very soon as the James Bond film series is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year.
