Several OnePlus 9 pro users have expressed dissatisfaction over experiencing freeze and reboot on their smartphones.

The smartphone was released together with The OnePlus 9 in the first quarter of 2021. The OnePlus 9 Pro starts at $969 with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage with Morning Mist as the lone color and can be upgraded to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

While the OnePlus 9 starts at $729 with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage in either Winter Mist or Astral Black. For $829, you can upgrade to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

A OnePlus 9 pro user, who experiences OS Lag, blackout, and failure on his smartphone, expressed dissatisfaction thus:

“My OnePlus 9 pro seems to My OnePlus 9 pro seems to need a hard reset more than my previous OnePlus 7 pro. I constantly find my shelf missing when using my phone. Farthest left screen is disables and needs a reset to be restored. Also a black box and screen appears and it happens intermittently, so far it’s been a bad experience with the OnePlus 9 pro compared to the seamless user to interface experience I had with my OnePlus 7 pro. Dispute a reboot the issues still occur.”

Another user, who experienced a similar issue, said: “I have the same issue with my OnePlus 9 Pro.”

In response, OnePlus customer care asked: “Were you able to repeat it under certain circumstances? For the back screen, it happens randomly and I can’t seem to repeat it myself.”

“I could not replicate either. Mine was worse than this, the entire screen goes black with that black box in the center. The only option is to hard reset it by pressing the power button and volume up key. Happens randomly, though the occurrence has reduced since the last update.” User added.
