On January 25, Thor introduced the 911 Star Wars robust gaming laptop in the market; the machine is currently open for pre-sale and is expected to go on sale globally on February 1.
As per previous reports, this machine comes with a 12th-generation Intel Core i7-12700H processor with a maximum frequency clocked at 4.7GHz; the machine adopts a hybrid CPU architecture of performance cores + energy efficiency cores. It has 14 cores and 20 threads.
Intel hybrid architecture is way more powerful for gaming notebooks and has developed immense content for the machine; the gaming notebook comes with optional RTX 3050 and RTX 3050 Ti graphics cards. According to Raytheon, the RTX 3050Ti Laptop GPU feature the second-generation Nvidia Ampere architecture.
The GPU is fitted with a new RT Core and Tensor Core under the hood. It is designed to deliver photorealistic rendering of movie content virtual prototyping of product designs; it also reduces the workloads of the system by enabling speedups.
Coming to design, the machine is fully shielded with outlying plating molded with metal stamping. In terms of portability, the machine weighs the same as the previous generation gaming notebook; the whole device weighs approximately 1.99kg, with a 22.7mm thin which is a little far to call the thinnest gaming book.
The laptop features a 15.6-inch full HD display with a 144Hz high refresh rate, 72% NTSC wide color gamut for more realistic images and videos; another critical thing to be noticed is heat dissipation as the gaming notebooks are crafted to generate heat inside the machine when you play a high graphics game or while you’re adorning your work on creativity software, it is must to create a colder environment under the device to dispense the gratuitous heat.
The new machine Thor 911 Starwars is developed with a dual-fan design under the hood 8mm copper pipes + 2 10mm cooling copper pipes to conduct heat. When it comes to pricing, the machine placed to have two variations: i7-12700H / RTX3050/16GB/ 512GB comes at a price tag of 6499 yuan(Rs. 76,790), and i7-12700H / RTX3050Ti / 16GB/ 512GB comes at a price of 6799 yuan (Rs.80,335)
