OnePlus, one of the leading brands in India, will also be taking part in this race. Mukul Sharma has recently tweeted that the company has filed an application for a new device. The application page shows that the new device simply carries the name ‘red ears’. At this point, it is impossible to pinpoint what exactly is going to be the new offering from OnePlus. The ‘red ears’ will definitely have something to do with new earbuds.
OnePlus’s past launch behavior suggests that the company launches a new device, such as a smartphone, that will be accompanied by other accessories, such as earbuds or headphones. Recently the company has launched the OnePlus Buds Z2, truly wireless earphones alongside the new OnePlus 9 RT.
The latest earphones carry a very conventional design for both the charging case and the earphones themselves. As was expected, the pods have magnets inside. OnePlus could perhaps launch a different edition of the recently launched earbuds. Note should also be taken of the fact that a few days ago specs of a rumored OnePlus Nord 2T appeared online.
There is a chance that OnePlus will also launch new earbuds alongside the OnePlus Nord 2T. The ‘red ears’ mentioned in Mukul Sharma’s tweets could also be a new generation of earbuds from the company. The mysterious ‘red ears’ registration was filed on 25th January 2022. Mere registration means that it might take some time before the product actually hits the market. OnePlus will certainly tease the product before launching it. As of now, no more information has been made public.
