In recent days, Apple has been registering new technology patents. With the patent, the company’s future ventures seem ingenious. We all know that Apple is planning to set foot in the automobile industry with unimaginable cars that are yet to come from the brand.

Earlier this week, the US patent and trademark granted Apple a patent related to car sunroof. This one seems a bit different from the previous patent but relatively appears to be something skeptical. Moreover, you won’t witness this newly granted patent in any Apple existing devices that may be a way of communication in the near future.

People who own a modern car might have an idea to discuss sunroof glass mounted on top of the car to let in the Sunrays and allow the passengers to get some fresh air with the dazzling view of the sky on a comfortable back seat. Even so, the existing car sunroof doesn’t come with an adjustable transparency system.

Still, the Apple patented sunroof has multiple opacity classes, making it possible to locate the transparency level of the glass like an aperture in a DSLR camera. The passenger could have the option to adjust the amount of sunlight that should pass through the glass.

The patent also has unprecedented compatibility. The sunroof can be reached in sequence with side windows, whilst existing models with the same technologies prefer to have a fixed sunroof that stays in a static relative motion. As per the previous reports, Mercedes Benz has worked on its Magic Sky Roof for many years. Both the technology seems to be similar in terms.

In addition,  the most debatable part about this newly granted patent is that it upholds all the previous and ongoing rumors regarding Apple’s self-developed car with an Apple symbol carved at the center of the bonnet.

Even if the stories about Apple cars are happened to be accurate, maybe still we can’t see the actual vehicle in a year or two; it would take at least 3 to 4 years to see an event where the Apple CEO unveils the car with massive applause of audience reaches the auditorium.
