Last year, the Poco X3 Pro was unveiled, which was ideologically similar to the initial Pocophone F1, giving top-of-the-line hardware at a reasonable price. This was the primary feature of the smartphone that helped it gain popularity.

However, in the case of the successor – the POCO X4 Pro 5G – will be an exciting smartphone in general, as the upcoming device has already begun to receive the necessary certifications. Thus the regulatory authorities have confirmed the imminent release of this model.

The smartphone was given the model number 2201116PG for the worldwide market and 2201116PI for the Indian market. It’s worth noting that the foreign market version of the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G was given the code 2201116SG.

The order of numbers for the two models is nearly identical, implying that the POCO X4 Pro 5G is simply a rebranding of the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G.

It is worth noting to add that, in January this year, model number 2201116PG was discovered on Malaysia’s SIRIM certification platform. Thailand’s National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission has now approved the same gadget (NBTC).

According to reports, the POCO X4 5G is expected to feature a 6.67-inch Samsung AMOLED display with an FHD+ 120Hz refresh rate. A 16 MP selfie camera and a 108 MP (main) + 8 megapixels ultrawide + 2 MP macro triple camera unit will be included in the device. MIUI 13 and Android 11 may be preinstalled on the device.

Equally, the report revealed that the smartphone could be powered by the Snapdragon 695 processor. The device might have up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of storage.

Other features that could be included are twin speakers, a fingerprint scanner on the side, a microSD card slot, and a 5000mAh battery with 67W rapid charging capabilities.
