Chinese handset manufacturer Xiaomi reportedly patented with authorization for the appearance of a “pin.” The patent registration number is CN202130504200.1, and the authorization number is CN307099232S, which was initially registered on August 5, 2021.

But, there is one thing with all the patents, it is unresolved whether the patent technology will make it in the same way as expected. In this patent, it appears that the concept might give an exact commercial product output as it deals with card pins. We won’t usually pay heed to the accessory of the card pin.

In other words, we would never think of revisiting it after the sim is placed in the slot; at the extreme, searching for it for over an hour is predominantly covering the segments of “pin.” Have you ever thought of patenting a “pin?” The patent summary indicates that the patented product is used commercially to vent out the sim card and memory card in mobiles.

The design of the product reclines in shape. It is apparent from the patent image that Xiaomi’s “pins” have resembled the form of a ceiling fan and also a Glaive, a three-edged throwing blade that can be seen in fantasy games. It has three needles set out at 120° intervals and arranged on the center of the circled disc in a crooked form. The Xiaomi “pin” is in good trim, but what seems more unnecessary is why Xiaomi must need to try a “pin” with a non-uniform pattern.

Moreover, the use of the product is very less. Eventually, it can be named something like ” bootless.” Perhaps, we must hold up until Xiaomi’s next mobile launch to see whether this needle will be used or not. Still, it is perplexing why a slot opening “pin” needs a three-needle to take out a single tray with cards. As if it was crafted to jab three smartphone tray holes simultaneously. Whatsoever, it might be used to display it proudly.
