It is reported the American smartphone giant Motorola is set to unveil a new smartphone, the Motorola Edge 30 Pro equipped with a Folio Case designed to accommodate the phone’s upcoming Smart Stylus, an active pen designed to be compatible with the premium device.
According to leaked pictures, by Ev@evleaks, a self-proclaimed phone enthusiast, of the upcoming Motorola Edge 30 Pro, which revealed the official accessories such as a folio case and a stylus, noted that the smartphone will compete against the likes of the OnePlus 10 Pro or even the Samsung Galaxy S22+ featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.
With this new Motorola Edge 30 Pro powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, the American mobile giant is prepping to compete against Galaxy S22 Ultra, a powerful smartphone with a stylus recently launched by Samsung.
Unlike the Galaxy S22 Ultra, which includes an S-Pen as part of the package, the Motorola Edge 30 Pro will not contain an S-Pen. Although the stylus may be included in the box, as with the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, it should be carried separately.

The upcoming Motorola Edge 30 Pro is expected to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. The phone is said to include a 6.7-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 144Hz. The phone will come with an Android 12 operating system and stock Android UI.
The phone will be available in a variety of storage configurations, with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The phone does not feature a microSD card slot, however, it does have two nano-SIM card slots, one of which supports a 5G network. WiFi 6e and Bluetooth 5.2 will also be supported by the phone.
In terms of pricing, the Motorola Edge 30 Pro is estimated to cost around Rs. 60,000 in India and will fight against the OnePlus 10 Pro and even the Samsung Galaxy S22+, both of which feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.
