The Institute of Software of the Chinese Academy of Sciences team released a new quantum computing programming software called is-Core. The team working behind the technology also deployed it successfully to the world’s leading superconducting quantum hardware platform. The team is hoping to form a new-gen quantum control technology for high-performance superconducting quantum computers in the future.

Reports claim that the software is not only simple in its interface but also highly efficient and highly reliable while also offering strong scalability. The software can provide strong support for users so that they can conveniently use quantum computing hardware devices.

The newly introduced quantum computing software marks an important step in the combination of domestic quantum computing software and hardware. The Institute of Quantum Information and Quantum Science and Technology Innovation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and National Shield Quantum have jointly built the 12 superconducting qubit quantum computing cloud platforms.

Other software research institutes such as Guodun Quantum have jointly developed and designed the isQ-Core quantum programming language; moreover, its compiler has been adapted to the QCIS instruction set hardware of the cloud platform.

Last year in December the quantum computing cloud platform of the Institute of Quantum Information and Quantum Technology Innovation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences announced the instructions for developing the QCIS for remote control of quantum computing physical systems.

It will allow the users to remotely call the software’s Open interface so that they can execute cloud quantum programming experiments on real quantum computing prototypes. However, this time the quantum computing cloud platform launched the set of instructions for QCIS. It will also be the compiled language of “Zu Chingzhi No. 2” which is something that was exclusively used internally by scientific researchers, but now the said language will be open to the public for the first time.
