A few foreign news media outlet has commented that the company Nikon might come out with a new full-frame mirrorless camera this year. More news point to the fact that the new mirrorless cameras could be at a lower position than the Z5.
The new full-frame mirrorless camera might be named Z4. Now that it has been established that the new Z4 will not be costlier than the Z5, in fact, its cost will be way lower than the Z5, Nikon certainly has to cut some corners, or in this case, compromise with a few of its features. As such, several reports have claimed that the new Z4 will have no EVF and that it will come with fewer ports. Nikon has not released any details about its specifications yet; there is no further news available about the camera yet.
Nikon’s Z5 entry-level full-frame mirrorless camera was launched almost two years back in 2020, The camera, at that time, making use of the FX-format 24.32 million pixel CMOS sensor along with EXPEED 6 image processor. The camera is able to provide a maximum of ISO 51200 sensitivity; the camera can maintain its image clarity and sharpness nevertheless.

As of February 2022, Nikon has added support for the FTZ II mount adapters, NIKKOR Z 24-120mm f4 S lenses, NIKKOR Z 28-75mm f2.8 lenses, and the latest update has improved the face detection performance.
As of now, the Nikon Z5 kit is priced below 10,000 yuan.
