Reports have revealed today that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Band 7 gets multiple certifications with doubled battery capacity.
Last year Xiaomi unveiled the Mi Band 6 in India and some other countries now, the next-generation band, Xiaomi Mi Band 7 has been spotted online.
The upcoming Xiaomi Mi Band 7 has been found on the Belgium SGS-CEBEC website, while the fitness band has been spotted on the Indonesia telecom website with the same model number. The 250 mAh battery capacity is confirmed, and the charging base with the XMCDQ05HM product number has also been discovered in the database.
To put things into perspective, the Mi Band 6 had a 125 mAh battery unit. It appears like Xiaomi is doubling down on the battery capacity of the Mi Band 7, which should improve the smart band’s battery life. For the time being, the listing doesn’t reveal anything else than the battery capacity.
According to a recent leak, the Mi Band 7 will have a larger display than the Mi Band 6. The Band 6 has a 1.56-inch AMOLED display for reference. The Band 7 is supposed to have a resolution of 192 x 490p.
In addition, the smart band will have an always-on display feature. Along with this, a slew of cloud-based watch faces is on the way.
The most significant improvement is anticipated to be an in-built GPS, which will allow users to track activities such as walking and running without having to carry their phones with them.
However, the software for Band 6 previously indicated that it will include built-in GPS functionality, nonetheless, the upcoming device did not include GPS, according to speculations.
