US-based chipmaker Qualcomm will likely announce a new Snapdragon 7-series processor by early May. The company has been keeping track of the revamped version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 since the release of the standard version.

According to previous reports, the chipset may arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus moniker. Now,  the rumored Snapdragon 7-series is also knocking the box and is expected to take a walk with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus. The information comes from a credible tipster Digital Chat Station; he also shared the critical details of the next-generation Snapdragon 7-series chipset.

According to the leak, the rumored Snapdragon 7-series chip will be made up of four Cortex-A710 cores clocking at the frequency of 2.36GHz and four Cortex-A510 cores stopping at 1.80GHz. The chipset will adopt a 4nm chipset and include the Adreno 662 GPU.

Astonishingly, the tipster has claimed that tech goliath Samsung will manufacture it. A few reports from the industry show that the first phones powered by the new Snapdragon 7-series chip are already in the process, and it will be out very soon, but only after the official release of the Snapdragon 7 SoC.

It is important to note that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ may debut in early May. Consequently, there is much possibility that the unreleased Snapdragon 7-series processor can come alongside the Snapdragon Gen 1+ SoC. Qualcomm has given a new name to its flagships chipset

So, it is likely that the 7-series SoC may come with the name  Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. It is worth mentioning that a few brands such as Xiaomi, Lenovo, Motorola, and OnePlus have been working on Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ powered flagships. However, it is said that the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra may enter the industry as the world’s first phone with SD8G1+ onboard
