In a bid to enhance its automobile industry, the Chinese multinational technology corporation, Huawei has officially announced the test methods, devices, and systems for its autonomous vehicles which require no human power driving.

According to the Tianyancha App, which confirmed the development stated that the Chinese tech giant announced the test methods, devices, and systems for autonomous vehicles on the 3rd of May this month.

The released abstract by the Chinese tech giant indicates that the present application relates to the technological field of autonomous driving and discloses a testing method, device, and system for an autonomous driving vehicle.

Aside from that, a software control module, motion control module, and numerous motion platforms are included in the system offered by the embodiments of the present application. The software control module can collect data from the first test scene and transfer it to the motion control module.

While, the motion control module receives the first test scene’s information, determines the test motion platform and the target motion platform among the plurality of motion platforms based on the first test scene’s information, and sends the motion platform’s parameter information to each determined motion platform.

As a result, the motion platform performs appropriate operations based on the motion platform’s parameter information. Self-driving vehicles can be tested without the use of testers in this method, which improves test efficiency and lowers personnel expenses.

Huawei previously filed an autonomous driving-related patent with the State Intellectual Property Office last month, April 5, which combined two sensors, a camera device, and a radar, and fused the obstacle distribution information received from the two sensors.

The drivable region of the vehicle is expressed in the form of probability after fusion. A camera device, at least one radar, and a processor are included in the automatic driving assistance system, which is configured to implement the method’s technical solution, and the automatic driving vehicle contains the above automatic driving assistance system.

Given the latest development, it seems the tech giant is about to unveil its autonomous self-driving vehicles any time soon, therefore, stay connected with Techgenyz for more updates on the upcoming vehicles.
