During the month of may, Animal Crossing: New Horizons celebrates spring in full bloom with all the new events for players to enjoy. The island itself is transformed with bountiful colors and produce which players will be able to interact with as they play the numerous events to reap big rewards.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons introduces new events and fun puzzles every month which are enjoyed by both long-term and new players as it changes up the gameplay into something fresher and newer. As with May, some of the events might be recurring from the spring of previous years, but they are a great opportunity to earn prizes and recipes that players can use in the game.
Mother’s Day Event Begins in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
With a Nook Shopping seasonal event, players can celebrate Mother’s Day throughout the month of May. Usually, Mother’s Day is celebrated on the second Sunday of May, but on Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you will be able to reap the benefits all month through.
Players will be able to purchase a special item from the Nook Shopping store for the event of Mother’s Day, which is a Thank You Mom mug that you can display around your home. This is a limited-time item that you can buy for 600 Bells only during the month of May, so be sure to collect it before the event ends.
Celebrate History with International Museum Day in Animal Crossing: New HorizonsStarting on 18th May, players will be able to participate in the International Museum Day event in Animal Crossing: New Horizons which is celebrated at the Museum on the island, which was added by Nintendo to showcase historical exhibits. There are some tasks that the players can complete to collect stamps and learn more about the items on display.
Led by the NPC curator Blathers, this event will run until the end of the month, so make sure to complete the stamp card collecting tasks. All you need to begin the quest is to ensure that the Museum has already been built on your island before the event begins on the 18th of May.
After the May events conclude, players will be able to enjoy smaller events throughout the summer months, leading up to the main Animal Crossing Halloween event in autumn.
