Upon the introduction of the popular Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 in August 2021, the South Korean smartphone giant Samsung is gearing up to unveil the next-generation of foldable smartphone line-up, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4, probably in the third quarter of the year, as speculations reveal.

However, ahead of the official launch of the upcoming foldable smartphones, the device has received several speculations ranging from its design to features and cases. As we just discovered via a Twitter post today, the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 4 is expected to feature new ratio dimensions and be lighter than the iPhone 13 Pro Max + Case.

Over the weeks @Iceuniverse, a reputable tipster has tweeted a slew of details regarding Samsung’s forthcoming foldable, the most intriguing of which is the Galaxy Z Fold 4’s unique aspect ratio. Previously, the internal display aspect ratio of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 was 5:4, while the external display was 24.5:9.

With an interior screen ratio of 6:5 and an external screen ratio of 23:9, the forthcoming model will slightly alter that figure. Innately this is difficult to envision, but @Iceuniverse has kindly provided a mockup comparing the two devices via a tweet.

As per the leak, the Galaxy Z Fold 4’s battery capacity remains unchanged from that of its predecessor, at 4400mAh. For those interested in the Galaxy Z Flip 4, there is some good news. The battery capacity of the incoming handset will be increased from the previously announced 100mAh.

According to new reports, the battery capacity could rise to 3700mAh, which is 400mAh more than the Galaxy Z Flip 3. This will be a pleasant change, especially since the exterior display is expected to be larger as well. While the exact size of the display is unknown, it is expected to be in the 2-inch area.

Accordingly, the duo’s upcoming foldable smartphone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s unannounced Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus (SM8475) SoC. Beige, Black, and Gray color will be featured in the Galaxy Z Fold 4, while the Galaxy Z Flip 4 will be available in a variety of hues, including Gold, Gray, Light Blue, and Light Violet.

Given the recent rumors, the next generation of Samsung foldable smartphones – the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 is expected to be unveiled in the third quarter of the year. Stay connected with Techgenyz for more latest technology updates.
