About two years ago, the South Korean mobile giant, Samsung introduced the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite as its mid-range tablet since the mobile giant has been gearing up to unveil an improved version that should breathe fresh life into the product.

Recently, a new Galaxy Tab version was spotted on Geekbench, Bluetooth SIG, and FCC certification websites implying the upcoming tablet launch date is around the corner.

However, as we just discovered, today, the Korean mobile giant, has discreetly released the 2022 edition of the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite and is now available for pre-order on Amazon Italy, while the shipments and sales will commence by May 23.

Comparing the specification between the original and the newly released 2022 edition, instead of Android 10, the new slate comes with Android 12. Apart from the operating system, the Snapdragon 720G (8nm) replaces the Exynos 9611 as the second component (10nm), denoting an improved CPU and GPU performance.

The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, 2022 Edition comes with a 10.4-inch display and offers one storage memory configuration: 4GB of RAM with 64GB of local storage.

To users convince, the new tablet is powered by a mighty battery capacity of 7,040mAh unit, capable of 5W fast charging, and comes with an S-Pen that will attach to the right edge with the help of magnets. 

In terms of camera, the device features an 8-megapixel sensor for the rear camera and a 5-megapixel front sensor for selfies. Additionally, there is a pair of AKG-tuned speakers with Dolby Atmos support and a 3.5mm jack featured on the smartphone.

As per reports, the Wi-Fi-only model begins with a starting price of $394, about €379, while the LTE connectivity cost $456, approximately €439.
