Sony has revealed a preliminary list of games planned for PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium, and they’ve now announced a time-limited game trial that will be available starting in June. With these time-limited game trials, Gamers may now test the game they want to try prior to actually purchasing the entire version of the game. It decreases the likelihood of purchasing an entire video game if consumers are really not happy with their chosen game during the trial period. Sony also states that PSOne and PSP games included a new UI with panels that enable the user to record their gameplay at any moment.

Additionally, users who have already owned the digital edition of certain games from the first PlayStation and PSP generations would not need to make a second purchase or join up for PlayStation Plus in order to play them on the Playstation 4 or Playstation 5. Whenever these games are available on PS4 and PS5, gamers may go to the PlayStation Store and install a version for the consoles for free if they already possess the digital version of the title. Individual copies of a few of the titles will be available for purchase.

Playstation Plus free limited-time game trials and launch date

Asia will be the first to launch Playstation Plus on May 24, followed by Japan on June 2, North, Central, and South America on June 13, then Europe, Australia, & New Zealand on June 23. Most games will now allow gamers to play for two hours after installing a trial of the complete game, the duration clock only counts whenever the game is really played. All advancement throughout the trial period will be transferred over to the full game if purchased through Playstation Plus.
