Back in February this year, the Chinese multinational technology company, OPPO entered the tablet-computer space with the launch of the first Oppo Pad in China. The first Oppo Pad comes with the Snapdragon 870 SoC and the Oppo Pencil Stylus for a selling price of CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs. 26,300) then.

Now, the tech giant is making another milestone in the technology industry with the unveiling of new its second tablet, the OPPO Pad Air, which is officially announced today and comes within two color schemes.

Comparing the new OPPO Pad Air tablets with the previous one shows the manufacturer has made tremendous upgrading to the latest tablet with the use of the right-angle frame, silver, and black colors, and the silverback cover is decorated with rainbow stripes, while the previous OPPO Pad back cover is “OPPO” pattern.

Oppo Pad Air specifications

The newly unveiled tablets sport a 10.36-inch LCD panel, with a 2,000×1,200 pixels resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. The tablet also comes with a 7,100mAh battery capacity, supports 18W fast charging, and offers a four-speaker configuration with Dolby Atmos.

Ahead of today’s official launch, the blogger @Digital Chat Station had previously revealed some configurations of this tablet, claiming that the tablet is positioned as a thousand yuan machine, will be equipped with a Snapdragon 680 processor, and will be equipped with a 10.36-inch, resolution of 2000 1200p LCD with a refresh rate of 60Hz and a full screen, the battery capacity is 7100mAh, the charging power is 18W, and will be supplemented by four speakers and supports Dolby Atmos.

Surprisingly, his claims turn out to be true. Similarly, it can be seen from the presale interface that the front of the tablet is designed with four sides of equal width and rounded corners, but the frame is relatively wide.

In terms of the new OPPO Pad Air software, the tablet sports a 5-megapixel Hi556 front camera and an 8-megapixel Hi846 back camera. The iPad operating system is ColorOS 12.1 and the Snapdragon 680 runs at 25W. The RAM starts at 4GB, just like the realme Pad’s entry-level model.

Pricing
