OPPO India disclosed its collaboration with Microsoft for the OPPO Elevate Program to deliver the following big innovative change in the country. With the joint venture, both tech goliaths attempt to empower tech startups in the country.

Predominantly, it chooses a particular passage to spur up the innovation culture in India and guide startups who have the latent potential to demonstrate themselves on the big screen. The program kickstarted yesterday, 19th May; startups across “Accessible Technology” and “Digital Health” can apply for the program.

The accepted proposals will be evaluated by an expert team led by Tasleem Arif, VP and R&D Head, OPPO India, Madhurima Agarwal, Country Head-India, and Microsoft for Startup, among others. Amidst a huge competition, the top ten selected startups firm will get an incredible chance to project their proposals to the jury in an event scheduled to be held in August 2022.

Astonishingly, these ten startups will also collaborate with OPPO for applicable technical discussion and access to R&D facilities (labs, spaces, mobile devices) on mutually agreed terms and conditions. Eventually, the selected ten startups jury will choose the top three startups to enter the global event.

As of now, the program has been conducted two years in a row. As part of the program, all participants will get an invitation to attend Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub, and eligible startups will be able to snatch USD 150K worth of Azure credits and mentoring and guidance from technical experts across the globe to build the firm further.

While talking about the Elevate program, Tasleem Arif, Vice President and R&D Head, OPPO India, said, “The OPPO Elevate program has seen momentous success since its inception and with the second edition, we aim to build the innovation in health and accessibility and highlight Indian innovation on a global platform.”
