Moto G62 5G bags multiple certifications: Global launch imminent

Motorola has been on a smartphone launching spree since the beginning of this year. Now, a new phone by the brand, Moto G62 5G, has appeared on multiple certification websites. The NBTC certification of the smartphone cleared out the air regarding its moniker and confirmed that it will be called Moto G62 5G.

In a recent development, the device has also appeared on the TDRA (Telecommunications and Digital Government, UAE). This means that the device could soon hit the global market followed by the India launch. As per the TDRA listing, the device carries model number XT2223-1 with Lenovo, the parent company of Motorola, as the manufacturer name.

The Moto G62 5G is said to come with an FHD+ display coupled with either a 90Hz or 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will get 8GB RAM paired with 128GB of internal storage. At the time of launch, we can see multiple RAM and storage variants of the device.

Apart from that, speculations are that the smartphone will feature dual-band WiFi and it will be based on the Android 12 operating system. The OS of the device will offer a near-to-stock Android experience is similar to other Motorola phones.

In terms of optics, we can see a 50MP primary shooter in the smartphone with a high-capacity selfie shooter. It will draw power from a 4700mAh battery that will ship with 20W fast charging support. As of now, there is no detail available regarding the processor that will be a part of the device.

However, expectations are that we can get to see a Snapdragon processor in the smartphone with 5G support. As for the pricing, commenting on anything on a rigid basis will be a little too early as we don’t even know about the processor that will be a part of the device.

Still, the smartphone could be priced somewhere between the price range of Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000. There is no other information available regarding the smartphone until now. Readers have to wait for a while to know the exact specs of the device.
