While the audience is still exploring the Oppo Reno 8 series that recently made its debut in China, another phone from the series, Oppo Reno 8Z, is all set to make an entry into the Chinese market. Previously, three phones were launched under the 8 series – Oppo Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro, and Reno 8 Pro Plus. This is going to be the fourth device of the series.

In a recent development, the smartphone has visited the NBTC (National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission) certification website, and it revealed a few key details regarding the device. The Oppo Reno 8Z could be seen carrying model number CPH2457.

It has been confirmed that the device is going to support 5G networking. In addition, the EU declaration of the smartphone has shed light on the battery capacity and the charging speed of the smartphone. It is being said that the device will be powered by a 4500mAh battery that will be optimized to go on for long hours even after extensive use.

Moreover, the smartphone will also support 33W fast charging that could completely charge in less than one and a half hours. The smartphone will operate on ColorOS 12.1.1, which will be based on the Android 12 operating system.

Considering that the predecessor of the upcoming Oppo offering, Oppo Reno 7Z, ships with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor, our wild guess is that the smartphone may run on the recently launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 778+ processor that we have seen in only a couple of devices until now.

Furthermore, features like an AMOLED display, high refresh rate, multiple RAM variants, and other things are already on the expectations list. As of now, we are a bit skeptical about the information shared above as the company has not made any official announcement regarding the device. It is suggested to all the readers to take the information with a pinch of salt.
