Xiaomi has recently taken the market by storm with the Xiaomi 12 series. Now, it is being said that the brand is possibly working on the Xiaomi 12S series.
As per the reports, the Xiaomi 12S series will consist of two smartphones – Xiaomi 12S and Xiaomi 12S Pro. As per the speculations, the Pro variant of the series will have two different models shipping with Dimensity and Snapdragon processors, respectively.
In a recent development, the Xiaomi 12S Pro appeared on the 3C certification website. It has been confirmed that the smartphone will ship with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor.
The smartphone could be seen carrying the model number Xiaomi 2206122SC. Moreover, it is being said that the device will come with 120W fast charging support. This will put the device in competition with iQoo 9, Realme GT Neo 3, and the OnePlus 10R, which also offer similar sort of charging capacity. As for the base variant of the series, it will support 67W fast charging.
Xiaomi 12S Pro expected specifications
The Xiaomi 12S Pro could get a 2K curved OLED display with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate for a seamless experience. Furthermore, we can also get to see a 50MP primary shooter in a triple rear camera system. At the front, the device may flaunt a 32MP camera to click selfies and attend video calls.
Expectations are that the device will draw power from a 4500mAh battery that will come with 120W fast charging support. The smartphone is said to operate on the MIUI 13 based on the Android 12 operating system. Rumors have it that the other variant of the device will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor.
