Oppo Reno 8 series recently made its debut in the Chinese market. The series consisted of three smartphones – Oppo Reno 8, Oppo Reno 8 Pro, and Oppo Reno 8 Pro Plus.

The launch of the base variants seems imminent in the global market as it has recently visited the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC).

The latest listing of the device has put a stamp on the moniker. Moreover, the device has been spotted on a few more certification websites like TKDN, FCC, EEC, BIS, and GCF. Previous leaks have also suggested that the smartphone will reach the Indian shores by the month of July 2022.

According to the listings, the Oppo Reno 8 carries a model number CPH2359. The device could be seen carrying a 4500mAh battery along with fast charging capabilities, which is unknown at this point in time.

Furthermore, the smartphone will most probably weigh around 179 grams and it will be 7.6mm thin. Oppo Reno 8 5G expected specifications As we all know that the smartphone has already made its debut in China, the specifications and features of the device are pretty much clear. It could come with a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display paired with a 90Hz refresh rate.

The device may be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 processor along with 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. In optics, we can see a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary shooter, a 2MP Black and White shooter, and a 2MP macro shooter. On the front, the smartphone could flaunt a 32MP Sony IMX709 snapper for the sake of selfies and video calls.

For security purposes, we can expect an in-display fingerprint sensor. The Chinese variant of the device supports 80W fast charging. We can expect the same capacity in the global variant too.
